GLASS EYE SHIELD
Installation Instructions |
For use on all Glastar Models
(except the G5/STARLET)
and all Inland Models |

1. Cut a piece of double-strength
glass to the size you feel will be appropriate for an eye shield.
We recommend an 8" x 9" (20,32 cm x 22,86cm) piece
for large grinders and 7" x 7"
(17,78 cm x 17,78 cm) for the smaller models. The support
will accommodate any size you choose.
2. Grind all the edges and round the corners of the glass to remove
any sharp spots.
3. Select two self-threading screw and washers according to the following
table:

4. Find the drawing below which
shows your model. Place the eye shield support on the work surface
in the position indicated and secure it with the proper
screws and washers.
BE
CAREFUL Do not over-tighten! These screws require very little tension
to hold the support
in place.
